Our suite at Extended Stay America Suites - Kansas City - Shawnee Mission felt cozy and welcoming with its fully equipped kitchen and comfy bed. As a family who enjoys homemade meals, we appreciated having everything we needed right at our fingertips.

Personally, I found the highway noise a bit bothersome at times.

Totally fairly nice stay for a business trip. Non-smoking hotel with very caring and competent staff. The location UNBEATABLE and comfortable on I-35. Next to the greater Kansas City area and the local post office and Overland Park.

We really enjoyed our stay at this smoke-free hotel. the room came with a master key, which was handy. Having a shower and hair dryers available was definitely a nice touch! 😊.

Enjoyed our rooms with single bed. The location was absolutely perfect, at a moderate distance from Antioch Park. All of the staff was accommodating and competent and attentive to guests.

The hotel's location was convenient for reaching Olathe and the conference center. However, it fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, it couldn't offer the vibrant downtown KC experience we were hoping for.

Room cleanliness and maintenance were major issues, with dirty carpets and unattended trash cans.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. There was plenty of storage space, and the kitchen area functional.

For a newly renovated room, some things in the kitchen could have been a little nicer (like the backsplash). And it seemed as though the maids didn't quite finish the room, as a hand towel, washcloth and a toilet paper holder were missing, and some small amounts of sawdust were left behind.

Nonsmoking room smelled like somebody had been chain smoking in the room. Floors were cheap and slick. Fell twice. Don't walk around in just socks.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. the place was really nice and absolutely great. 😊.

The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The grounds are well kept and clean. I feel comfortable and safe. My rooms are always clean and look well kept. If I need anything the staff are very accommodating. I love this location and will continue to stay here when I need a home away from home!

The staff was caring and the location was convenient to the local post office. the room was well-stocked, brand-new, and included a private bathroom, microwave, coffee/tea making equipment. We loved our fantastic stay during our business trip!

I booked a non-smoking room and was given a smokers room that was setup for wheel chair access. With the baseball playoffs and NASCAR racing going on at the same time, there was no available rooms at other hotels. I won't be staying here again.
